Kill Jill is a brand new label, named after fashion guru Jill De Greef and founded by fashion lover Sarah Parent. Kill Jill stands for products that are innovative yet classy, thanks to their amazing fabric and unique simplicity. We chose the fabrics for the Kill Jill label very carefully. They were selected in such a way that all women feel comfortable wearing them, and with that, all insecurities vanish. Every piece is Belgian design and wants to bring something new to the fashion table.
The Kill Jill dress is the core piece of the brand, being a legally protected 2-in-1 dress that you'll find nowhere else on this planet. Sarah invented the award-winning Zikini in 2014, so it was time to turn it up a notch and the story continues in Kill Jill...
We are working hard to bring new quality items on a regular basis. Therefore, we combine forces with an excellent Belgian clothing company to assure the best fitting and quality tests. Furthermore, we collaborate with people who create handmade things, because every Belgian designer should have a chance to show his/her work. Kill Jill has a typical style and is made for women who love to wear something different.
Everything started with the idea that when people wear a certain outfit a few times, they never wear it again because "everyone has already seen it". The 2-in-1 dress is the perfect solution to that problem. The top and the skirt can be worn separately, combined with all kinds of styles, just dress according to your mood! The dress as a whole is also a multi-combinable piece; it looks awesome with sneakers and so classy with heels. (We admit: the fabric is so amazing, if you don't feel like it, you don't even need to wear a bra.)
As customers today, we have to be conscious about what we're buying. Will I wear it often? Will it match the rest of my wardrobe? Can I wear it to go to work? Will I enjoy it for a long time? So that's why we aim for timeless, endless possibilities and an excellent quality!
My name is Jill, 27 years old and living in the shopping city Antwerp – A lot of you will know me from the television programme ‘Pink Ambition.’ I can tell you it’s a very unforgettable experience to participate in a tv show. For10 years already,Fashion is my passion and my style can be described in one sentence: Pink with a touch of glitter! Kill Jill is something new and it’s totally me. A pink killer two-in-one dress with a lot of possibilities thanks to a zipper.
I really have a very girly style but I like to combine it with a lot of different touches. I think it’s amazing to wear something really chique in combination with sneakers or other sporty accessories.
I am also open to rock outfits with leather and a lot of studs and spikes. And the higher the heel, the better the fashion deal.
Let me say that I want to kill, butin a feminine way.
I’m Sarah, 26 years old and living in the very great city of Ghent. You can call me an entrepreneur or any other fancy word that comes to mind. Label me! Go ahead! A lot of children quickly know what they want to become when they grow up, but I didn’t. The only thing I did know, was that I wanted to create things – so badly. I created everything as a child – most of those things were nothings, supposed to be somethings.
Due to the fact that I am a very insecure person, I aim to create things that will give me more confidence. In 2014 I came up with the idea of creating a 2-in-1 swimsuit that could be worn as a swimsuit, but also as a bikini – called ‘Zikini’. The Student Ghentrepreneur award was mine and I really felt like I could handle the world. I felt that I could really be someone – a real creator.
The painful truth is that entrepreneurship is a battle you have to fight. And during my battle, I lost a few times. I’m angry with myself because I call it ‘losing’,because those learning points will be the richest lessons I will ever have.
In 2016 I decided to expand my idea to other products such as dresses. This will definitely not be the end of the story – it’s the beginning of my never ending ‘you win some – you lose some’ - book.
I hope you will follow the story and I truly believe that passion is the most important thing in life. Without passion, creativity will be lost or will never have a chance.
And remember: An insecure woman can always hide behind confident clothes.
